The Abuja Electricity Distribution Company, AEDC, on Friday said parts of its serviced areas in Abuja, Nasarawa, Niger, and Kogi will not have supply due to limited energy supply from the National Grid.
The company explained that those areas are presently having shortage of powers and blackout pending improvement of energy at the national grid.
This was contained in statement by the disco on its X on Friday.
AEDC said it is currently monitoring the situation and vowed that normalcy would return as soon as the supply from the grid improves.
The company added that they are keenly aware of the current low power supply and outages being experienced by customers across its franchise area.
“While we strive to maintain a steady flow of energy, several locations are currently facing significant disruptions as a result of limited energy supply from the grid.
“Our technical team is closely monitoring the situation in real-time and remains fully committed to restoring normal service at the earliest possible time as soon as our grid allocation improves,” AEDC stated.
It would be recalled that the last few days, electricity supply in Abuja and its environs has been epileptic, which has affected some homes and businesses.
