No fewer than 15 persons including three children were feared dead in an explosion caused by collision of several tankers on Saturday at Ugwu Onyeama on the Enugu-Onitsha Expressway.
Mr Agbakoba Onyekwere, the Sector Commander, Federal Roads Safety Commission, (FRSC) who confirmed the incident, however, couldn’t confirm the number of casualties.
“The Commission has no information yet as we are still gathering data. Pls call me later,” Onyekwere added.
It was a sad scene at the venue of incident as many vehicles were still burning as of the time of this report.
