The Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Marshal Sunday Aneke, has ordered all Air Component Commanders across operational theatres to intensify precision air operations and deliver smarter, harder, and more decisive strikes against insurgents, terrorists, and criminal elements threatening Nigeria’s peace and stability.
Aneke gave the directive during a high-level strategic meeting with Air Component Commanders from all operational theatres in Abuja.
According to a statement signed by the Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, the Air Chief emphasized that the coming days demand agility, precision, and intelligence-driven warfare to secure the nation.
He charged commanders to ensure every mission reflects professionalism, purpose, and patriotism, stressing that the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) under his watch will rely more on innovation, technology, and training to achieve mission success.
Reassuring personnel of his unwavering commitment to their welfare, capacity development, and operational effectiveness, Air Marshal Aneke stated that the NAF will continue to strengthen its capabilities through continuous training and investment in modern warfare systems.
Aneke also reaffirmed the NAF’s dedication to the Federal Government’s vision of ensuring peace and security across the country while upholding international standards of conduct, accountability, and professionalism.
He reiterated that the Nigerian Air Force remains resolute in its mission to defend Nigeria’s sovereignty and maintain internal stability through smarter, precision-led air operations.
