Super Eagles and Atlanta winger, Ademola Lookman has won the CAF African Footballer of the Year award.

Lookman beat Morocco’s Achraf Hakimi, South Africa goalkeeper Ronwen Williams, Borussia Dortmund forward Serhou Guirassy, and Brighton’s Ivorian winger Simon Adingra to the award.
Dressed in a green native Agbada, Lookman was accompanied to the venue by his parents.
He greeted Nigeria and Nigerians in Yoruba Language shortly after receiving the award.
Super Falcons’ goal keeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie had earlier won the best goalkeeper of the year award.
Lookman won the award, replacing Victor Osimhen his national team mate who won it last year.
