•••Protesters Attack Residences of Rep, APC Zonal Vice Chairman, Others

The Secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Headquarters in Jigawa State has been set ablaze by protesting youths in the State.
The Secretariat was burnt down by the irate mob during the August 1, 2024 protest against hunger and poverty occassioned by bad governance in Nigeria.
The irate youths invaded the facility in Dutse, the State capital, where they destroyed billboards and other promotional materials of the ruling party before setting the building ablaze.
The protesters also torched some vehicles parked within the premises.
The Network gathered that the mob also attacked the residence of the House of Representatives member representing Gumel, Gagarawa, and Maigarati, as well as the home of the APC Zonal Vice Chairman..
The armed youths, however, broke loose, despite the tight security mounted by the operatives of different security agencies to contain the aggrieved protesters as the protest later spread to other parts of the state.
In Birnin Kudu, many people sustained injuries, while they invaded the State Fertilizer Store and the Grains Store and vandalized and looted the facilities while the state Agricultural Supply Company (JASCO) store in Gumel was also targeted.
