Breaking : APC suspends Minister of State Petroleum, Lokpobiri, David Lyon, Others

The All Progressives Congress (APC) executives in Ekeremor and Southern Ijaw Local Government Areas of Bayelsa State, have suspended key members of the party.

The party leadership in Ekeremor Local Government Area suspended the Minister of State for Petroleum, Senator Heineken Lokpobiri, while its counterpart in Southern Ijaw suspended the 2019 governorship candidate of the state, David Lyon.

Also suspended alongside Lokpobiri was the Bayelsa State Commissioner for Power, Engr. Karin Kumoko, the commissioner for land and Mr. Peres Biewari.

Lokpobiri and the others were suspended for alleged anti party activities and ‘factionalization’ of the party at the state level.
