Breaking: Spain Beats Argentina 1-0 to Win World Cup

Spain has defeated world champions Argentina to win the 2026 World Cup with a lone goal.

Ferran Torres scored the decisive goal in the 106 minute to give Spain the victory in the final.

Spain dominated the game with the match statistics showing 65 percent possession and 20 shots compared to Argentina’s 35 percent possession and two shots.

Argentina goalkeeper Emiliano Martínez who made 11 saves, to set a World Cup final record prevented Argentina from conceding more goals.

The Argentines played the final minutes of regulation and extra time with 10 men as Enzo Fernández was sent off for receiving two yellow cards.

The last time Spain won the World Cup was in 2010
