A gubernatorial Aspirant in Adamawa State, Mustapha Salihu, has withdrawn from the contest.
A statement issued by his campaign organization stated instead of the governorship ticket of the party, Mr Salihu will take up the candidature of the Central Senatorial district.
The statement was sighed by Mr. Ahmad Sajoh, Head strategic communication of the campaign organization.
Comrade Mustapha Salihu expressed sincere appreciation to the people of Adamawa state especially members of the APC for the love and support he received as an aspirant for the governorship of the state.
He reiterated his unflinching support and commitment for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the success of APC in the 2027 elections.
