D’TIGRESS BEATS MALI TO WIN FIFTH CONSECUTIVE AFROBASKET BALL FINAL

Nigeria’s female basketball team, D’Tigress, has defeated Mali to win the 2025 FIBA Women’s AfroBasket final in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire.

The D’Tigress defeated the Mali 78-64 to lift the trophy for the fifth consecutive time.

The President’s Special Adviser, Information & Strategy, Mr Bayo Onanuga, congratulated the team for the victory.

The D’Tigress, had earlier defeated Senegal to reach the fifth consecutive final in the 2025 FIBA Women’s AfroBasket

The hard fighting D’Tigress defeated their Senegalese rivals with a historic 75-68 win at the Palais De la Sport, Treichville, Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire on Saturday.
