Former National Publicity Secretary of the main opposition People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Kola Ologbondiyan, has officially withdrawn his membership from the party.
The former publicity secretary in a letter shared on his X page on Saturday, which was addressed to the PDP Chairman of Okekoko Ward (09), Kabba/Bunu LGA, Kogi State, thanked the party leadership and membership for the opportunities given to him to serve.
The former PDP Spokesman said he was leaving the PDP for personal reasons.
“It is now imperative to bring your attention to the fact that I have reviewed my participation in the PDP and came to the conclusion that, for personal reasons, I need to make my exit.
“I have therefore come to a decision to formally withdraw my membership of the PDP, henceforth.
“Today dated December 5, 2025, I formally notify the party of my withdrawal extending good wishes to the leadership.
Ologbondiyan previously worked as Director of Media and Publicity for the PDP’s 2019 Presidential Campaign Council and has a background in journalism.
He was also an aide to the former Senate President, David Mark, who is now the current chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
