The Federal Government has given approval to the Nigeria National Petroleum Company Limited to sell crude oil directly to Dangote refinery.
The Federal Government’s decision is to take commence immediately.
The 650,000 barrels per day capacity Dangote refinery has been contending with the challenge of inadequate crude oil supply to operate at full capacity.

The Chairman of the Federal Inland Revenue Service, Mr Zacch Adedeji made the disclosure while speaking with journalists in Abuja.
According to Adedeji, the refinery will also be able to sell refined products to local marketers in Naira.
The $20 billion Dangote refinery, had raised the alarm penultimate week that oil majors were blocking its access to locally produced crude oil by selling it above market price or claiming it was unavailable.
Officials of the refinery claimed to the shock of the nation that refinery was being forced to rely on imported crude.
