At least five vehicles, three motorcycles have been reportedly burnt to ashes when a petrol laden tanker exploded in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, Saturday.
The affected vehicles include two articulated trucks, one 18-seater bus, two small commercial cabs (Micra) and three motorcycles.
The incidence occurred at about 4:40pm around Iyana-Ajia, Egbeda area of Ibadan.
Our correspondent gathered that the burning fire affected the Ibadan axis of the Ibadan-Ife Express road, very close to the ongoing Iyana-Ajia bridge.
As of the time of filing this report the tanker is still burning, while other vehicles affected vehicles burnt to ashes.
