Former Nigerian High Commissioner to the UK, Dr. Christopher Kolade, is dead.

The prominent elder statesman, diplomat and boardroom giant died at the age of 92.
Reports quoted family sources as saying that he passed on in his sleep Thursday. No details have been released.
Kolade was born in 1932 in Erin-Oke, in the present day Osun State.
He attended the prominent Government College Ibadan, and later studied at Fourah Bay College, Freetown, Sierra Leone.
Kolade worked as a broadcaster who got to the peak of his carrier as the Director General of the Nigerian Broadcasting Corporation.
He later became the Chief Executive and Chairman of Cadbury Nigeria Plc
He was Nigerian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom.
