The Governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo, has sworn in six Commissioners into the State Executive Council.
The Governor has also assigned portfolios to the new commissioners numbering six.
The Secretary to the State Government, Umar Musa Ikhilor,
made the announcement in a statement on Tuesday.
According to Ikhilor, the new commissioners are Hon. Paul Nosayaba Ohonbamu- Ministry of Information and Communications, Hon. Dr. Washington Osa Osifo- Ministry of Water Resources and Energy, Dr. Emmanuel Paddy Iyamu- Ministry of Education and Sir (Dr.) Lucky Eseigbe- Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs
Others are Mr. Andrew Ijegbai- Ministry of Mining, and Barr. Marie Olabisi Idaomi- Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development.
He says that the new commissioners are expected to resume at their various Ministries with immediate effect.
