A popular hotelier Mr A O Akinyele, has died during a thanksgiving service he organized for his wife Mrs Catherine on her 60th birthday in Egbeda, Lagos.
Videos of the sad incident showed that the business who was in company of his wife, Mrs Catherine Akinyele, slumped while dancing on the podium.
The hotelier, his wife, the elders and the congregation were singing thanksgiving songs when he suddenly said something to his wife who was dancing beside him.
A few seconds after the wife made to leave, he slumped to the shock on the congregation.
The alarmed friends and well wishers made frantic efforts to revive him without success.
He was said to have been rushed to a nearby hospital where he was confirmed dead by a doctor on duty.
