Two of the three domestic staff suspected to have murdered a popular caterer, Mrs. Olakunbi Adene, last week have confessed to the heinous crime.
The late Mrs. Olakunbi Adene, was the Chief Executive Officer of Kitchen Country in Akure, the Ondo state capital.
The Network investigation revealed that the two suspects were picked up by a team of police investigators at Idanre and Akure.
The investigating police detectives from the Ondo State Police Command had tracked the deceased phones to the murder suspects at the two locations.
The two suspects told police detectives at the State Criminal Investigations Department how the woman prepared a delicious meal for them in celebration of her 54 birthday.
The suspects waited in her house at Oda Road, ate the meal which she prepared to appreciate them before attacking her with cutlass.
The Network gathered that the suspects in a most cruel and gory manner beheaded the lady, ripped open her stomach and inflicted burns on her.
They tried to cover up the crime to make the murder appear like a gas explosion before escaping the murder scene with the deceased phones and ATM cards.
The assailants were said to have covered her body with rubber and emptied the gas cylinder on herb which did not ignite as planned.
It was learnt that the killers muffled the voice of the pleading woman on her last day with the sound from her generator which was loud.
It was further learnt that a third suspect, who was the driver of the woman is on the run.
He was said that the suspect fled his house when his wife picked a police call that was made to the telephone line of the deceased.
