Justice Ebiyerin Omukoro of the Court 7 of the Bayelsa State High Court, who was kidnapped by heavily armed gunmen has been released.
Justice Umukoro was kidnapped in the early hours of the evening in front of a popular eatery, Kilimanjaro, at the busy Ekeki area of Yenagoa on June 21, 2025.
The Network gathered that the judge was released in the early hours of the evening and is still with security operatives.
Sources who confirmed the release of the judge said that the wife have seen the judge who is being expected in his house.
The Network gathered that the security agencies aided by the Bayelsa State Government ensured the release of the judge after 13 days in captivity.
