Bisola Ajimobi Kola-Daisi, the eldest daughter of the late former governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, has passed away at the age of 42.
She reportedly died in the early hours of Thursday, March 27, 2025, in the United Kingdom.
Until her passing, Bisola was a Special Adviser to the Minister of Budget and Planning, Atiku Bagudu, where she played a key role in policy planning and national development.
Born into a prominent political family, Bisola dedicated much of her life to public service, following in the footsteps of her father, who served as the Governor of Oyo State from 2011 to 2019.
She was known for her commitment to governance, strategic planning, and policy implementation, contributing significantly to economic reforms and budgetary strategies.
Beyond her professional achievements, Bisola was a loving wife, mother, and community advocate.
She was married to Kolapo Kola-Daisi, and her warmth, intelligence, and dedication to family and service earned her the admiration of many.
Her death comes as another heartbreaking loss for the Ajimobi family, following the passing of her father in 2020.
Confirming the news, Bolaji Tunji, a former aide to Senator Ajimobi, stated, “Yes, it has been confirmed.”
As tributes pour in from across the country, Bisola’s legacy of leadership, dedication, and service will not be forgotten.
