Mr Peter Obi, the 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party, has denied speculations that he intends to exit the party.
Speaking during the ongoing National Executive Council (NEC) meeting in Abuja, Obi clarified that he has not held any discussions with individuals or groups regarding defection..
He reiterated his commitment to the party, stating that any decisions concerning its future would be made collectively with its stakeholders.
“I have not told anyone that I’m leaving the Labour Party,” the former Governor of Anambra State asserted, urging members to disregard unfounded rumours and remain focused on strengthening the party’s vision.
