He identified the suspects as Sulaiman Sabo, also known as Labule; Muhammad Aminu, 20; Muhammad Yahaya; Muhammad Daddy, 20; Aliyu Kabir; Musa Kabir, 20; and Ahmad Usman, 23.
A search of their hideouts led to the recovery of five stolen mobile phones, two power banks, two cutlasses, a pinch bar allegedly used for housebreaking, a flashlight and a bunch of master keys.
Aliyu added that the suspects confessed to the crime during interrogation, while investigations uncovered four additional accomplices allegedly involved in disposing of the stolen property.
The fleeing suspects were identified as Dahiru Nuhu Tsoho, Ibrahim, alias Iro, Shafi’u Lawal and Aminu C. Police said efforts were ongoing to arrest them and recover the remaining stolen items.
The Commissioner of Police, Ali Umar Fage, commended the operatives for their swift action and urged residents to continue providing credible information to security agencies.
