Police has commenced investigation on a Cross-Dresser fondly known as “Abuja Area Mama” killed by an unknown assailant in the Banex area of Wuse II, Abuja.
The Cross-Dresser was found dead on Thursday at 7:40 am in female clothing, prompting a distress call to the police authorities.
SP Josephine Adeh, Spokesperson of FCT command confirmed the incident, adding that preliminary investigations revealed no means of identification was found on the deceased.
She said: “When the victim was found, he was rushed to the Maitama District Hospital, where doctors confirmed him dead.
Adeh noted that police is working to unmask the circumstances surrounding the deceased death.
The Police Spokeswoman said that a team of detectives have been drafted to the scene to gather evidence.
