Panic erupted on Monday when fire broke out at a United Bank for Africa (UBA) branch on Lagos Island, forcing some staff to jump from the building to safety.
Videos circulating on social media showed workers climbing through windows and leaping from the upper floors as thick smoke engulfed the premises.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
Eyewitnesses said emergency responders had arrived at the scene and were working to contain the blaze, though no official statement had been issued at the time of filing this report.
There were no immediate reports of casualties.
