Nnewi, the home town of Senator Ifeanyi Uba is thrown into shock, disbelief grief over the sudden death of the politician, businessman and publisher.
Uba who represents Anambra South Senatorial District, publishes the Abuja based Authority Newspaper.
Our correspondent who visited the community saw people discussing the disturbing news which was yet to be confirmed by the family.
While some are still hopeful and waiting to hear clarification or denial from the family, other others already accepted it as the painful reality.
However, feelers from Anambra state government has indicated that it also information on about the rumoured death of Sen. Ubah.
A top official of the government put up a post confirming the fear on a Whatsapp forum.
He simply wrote, “a very sad development” with two pictures of the late Senator.
It was learnt that Ubah died in a hotel in London, the United Kingdom
