Ahead of President Bola Tinubu’s presidential campaign rally in Rivers State, Governor Siminalayi Fubara has vowed to mobilise more than three million votes for the President in the 2027 general election.
Fubara gave the assurance at the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign rally in Port Harcourt, the state capital, on Saturday.
He assured the President that Rivers State was fully behind him and had made its decision, adding that there was no going back. He also declared that divisions in Rivers politics were over and that the state’s leaders were now speaking with one voice in support of Tinubu.
“Tinubu had shown love to Rivers State, and so, the state will reciprocate by voting for him massively in 2027.
“I urge you to return to your wards and polling units to begin campaigning. We must generate three million votes for Tinubu. This will never be possible if you are sitting at home.
“Rivers will give you three million votes. We will stand by you, work for you and deliver for you.
“We are not just talking. We will show it with our votes. Rivers people know how to keep their word,” Fubara said.
