Sandra Sunday, one of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members reportedly abducted along the Lokoja-Kabba road in Kogi State, has regained her freedom after spending several days in captivity.
Her release was confirmed on Monday by a family member, bringing relief to relatives and well-wishers who had followed developments surrounding the incident.
Sandra was among a group of corps members reportedly kidnapped while travelling through the Kogi axis shortly after completing their orientation programme, an incident that raised fresh concerns about the security of young graduates participating in the national service scheme.
