The African Democratic Congress (ADC) governorship candidate in Lagos State, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, has announced the death of his mother, Nkechi Stella Rhodes-Vivour.
Rhodes-Vivour disclosed the development in a post on his official X account on Monday, expressing gratitude for her life and the impact she had on her family.
“With sadness in our hearts and gratitude to God for a life well spent , we announce the call to glory of Nkechi Stella Rhodes-Vivour, ( Nee Waboso).
“A loving wife, devoted mother and grandmother. The epitome of Love. She will be sorely missed. May her beautiful soul rest in perfect peace.
“Funeral arrangements will be announced shortly.
“Announcer- Olawale Rhodes-Vivour For the family.”
The former Labour Party governorship candidate in the 2023 Lagos State election said details of the funeral arrangements would be announced by the family in due course.
