The announcement was contained in a statement issued on Tuesday by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, in Akure—less than 24 hours after the commissioners were sworn in at the International Centre for Culture and Events, Akure.

The statement listed the portfolio allocations as follows:

The appointments are part of the governor’s broader strategy to revamp governance and service delivery in the state, especially as his administration intensifies preparations for the upcoming 2024/2025 fiscal implementation cycle.

Governor Aiyedatiwa urged the commissioners to discharge their responsibilities with dedication, transparency, and a strong sense of accountability to the people of Ondo State.
