Kano-born business mogul, Alhaji Aminu Alhassan Dantata, has passed on at the age of 94.
He died after a prolonged illness related to old age.
According to a family source, the elder statesman succumbed to death in the wee hours of Saturday.
Dantata, a towering figure in Nigeria’s business landscape, was widely respected for his contributions to commerce and community development.
He was instrumental in founding numerous enterprises that shaped the economic landscape of Kano and the entire northern Nigeria.
