A Kano Shari’a Court sitting at Kofar Kudu has ordered the remand of Aliyu Adamu, Salihu Haruna and Sani Muhammad in a correctional centre until November 17, 2026, over the alleged murder of popular Kano social media commentator, Ibrahim Khalil Dan Shagamu.
The police arraigned the defendants before the court, presided over by Justice Ibrahim Sarki Yola, on charges of conspiracy and culpable homicide.
The defendants were accused of invading the residence of Ibrahim Khalil Dan Shagamu in Gaida Quarters, Kumbotso Local Government Area of Kano State, at about 11 p.m. on September 8, 2026, where they allegedly killed him by slitting his throat.
The three defendants pleaded not guilty to all the charges.
Following the proceedings, the court ordered that they be remanded in a correctional centre and adjourned the case until November 17, 2026, for continuation of hearing.
