Gunmen suspected to be bandits have abducted Alhaji Adamu, Personal Assistant to former Nasarawa State Governor, Sen. Tanko Al-Makura.
A security expert, Zagozola Makama made the disclosure that Adam was abducted in his home on Aug. 15 around 3:40am at No. 45 Alkali Street, Lafia.
“Eyewitness accounts confirmed that the victim was taken away by unknown persons,” he said.
Sources said patrol teams, the Anti-Kidnapping Squad, and other tactical units were immediately drafted to track the criminal elements and rescue the victim.
Meanwhile, authorities have assured that all efforts are underway to ensure Alhaji Adamu’s safe release and bring the perpetrators to justice.
