Two Chinese expatriates Chen Wenguang and Liang Ding have been abducted by gunmen around the Kemta/Abule-Owu area along Onigbedu Road in Ogun State.
The duo were abducted on Sunday, Aug. 11, 2024 around 1:45pm after they reportedly left Good One Carton Company to visit friends in the area.
The suspected kidnappers have since contacted the company to demand a ransom for the safe release of the victims.
Meanwhile, police operatives and other security forces have launched a search operation in the Kemta forest, but so far, their efforts have not yielded results.
The police are continuing their investigation, with a focus to apprehend the kidnappers and ensuring the safe return of the Chinese nationals.
