EFCC Declares City Boys Movement Women Leader Wanted

By Kamsi Anayo

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has declared Halimat Adenike Tejuosho, a women leader of the City Boys Movement, wanted over an alleged case of obtaining money by false pretence.

The anti-graft agency made the announcement in a notice shared on X on Monday. The notice was signed by EFCC Head of Media and Publicity, Dele Oyewale.

According to the commission, members of the public with information on Tejuosho’s whereabouts are urged to contact any EFCC office across the country.

The agency also asked the public to report through its official phone lines and email channels, or to the nearest police station and other security agencies.

Tejuosho was recently appointed South-West Zonal Women Leader of the City Boys Movement.

In a statement announcing her appointment, the group said she would provide strategic leadership for women-focused activities in the South-West, with responsibilities including political mobilization, civic engagement and advocacy.
